Project Overview:
I collaborated with a construction group that needed to convert a custom-coded WordPress theme into a more manageable, easy-to-use WordPress page builder setup. The client wanted to clone an existing website and make it editable via a page builder like Elementor, so they could easily update the site themselves.
My Approach:
I utilized Elementor as the primary page builder to replicate the design and functionality of the original custom-coded website. Premium Addons for Elementor were integrated to enhance design flexibility, and Custom Fonts were implemented to maintain branding consistency. WPCode Lite was used to handle any additional code required for functionality. To optimize performance, LiteSpeed Cache was installed, and Yoast SEO was configured for improved search engine visibility. I also incorporated WPvivid Backup Plugin for regular backups.
Outcome:
The result was a fully responsive WordPress site that maintained the design integrity of the original custom theme while being highly manageable for the client to edit and update. The project was completed with 100% client satisfaction, and they now have full control over content updates.
